A blush bloomed on her cheeks at the sight of his smirk, spreading down to her neck as she watched his fingers on the paper. She knew logically that her speech problems could be frustrating to deal with, but had long ago accepted that short of Hera herself nothing would fix her. Writing, texting, and sign language had been incredible boons when she discovered their existences, and thanks to the continued patience of others she was able to function in society. Truthfully, she didn't mind writing or texting so long as Pan had no trouble reading it, but she longed to just be able to have a regular conversation. Maybe one day.
"That's good." Echo repeated soberly, the brief flicker in her eyes betraying her desire to simply say more, as opposed to writing it. Mentally thanking Pan for the patience he was showing, her pen quickly flew across the paper to reveal neat handwriting. 'You shouldn't have any scars, and the vitamin E cream I left on your night stand will help the bruises fade quicker. I could help you put some on if you need it, and once you're all healed nobody will be able to tell you were ever even hurt, except us because we'll remember.' Echo was certain Pan's memories of the event, what little he had experienced, were far more frightening than hers considering he was involved where she had only observed.
"I'm glad." she said softly, resting one hand lightly on his arm as she looked into his eyes. She wouldn't want anything marring his features, although he'd probably look quite roguish with a well-placed scar.
