The peals of laughter came with the light, crunching footsteps and Marijuana tried to draw his feet up but it was far too late for that. He didn't mind, though, being chased and found was just as fun as the hiding and, nimbly, he dropped down to the lowest branch, sitting there momentarily and swinging his feet. "Caught me!" He cried out gleefully before dropping again. This time, his hands curled around the lowest branch and he swung back and forth for a moment.
Letting go, he dropped down beside Salvia with a laugh, reaching out to ruffle her hair until it was even messier than the wind had made it. "Want to go on the swings?" He asked, figuring they could play more hide and seek later but the thought of pushing his hermanita on the swings and listening to her laugh.
He looked over, through the trees toward the swing set, raising his eyebrows in a challenge. "Race you, Hermanita!" Without giving her any warning, he was running, although far slower than he actually could. This was about playing, not about being competitive.
