What was better than spending a few hours outside with his sister? Well, it could have been warmer but Marijuana was being kept warm by the memories of visiting Heroin in the studio over lunch... that and the power he had lining his thick coat and fluffy gloves in order to keep more of his natural warmth inside. Especially after throwing a rather loud tantrum after reading Opium's post and then, of course, realizing half an hour later that he was being idiotic and childish, it was good to get away from the Highway for a little bit and just relax under the fall sun, hear the crunch of leaves beneath his feet and, of course, listen to Salvia's laughter ring out through the park. They'd walked there, obviously, Marijuana only having glanced at the skateboard set by the door of the Highway for a moment before they left; it wasn't time to skate, it was time to hang out with his hermanita and forget about just how unsettled he'd been by Opium's reappearance. The walk had been uneventful; Marijuana pointing out to his sister every time he saw someone that he knew was one of his users and guessing at which ones were hers. A fun game, yes, but far too easy.
Hide and seek was almost too easy as well, or, it would have been if Marijuana had tapped into the Organic and persuaded the dirt to tell him where his sister was. But she could probably do the same as well and even if she hadn't quite figured that part out yet, it would still be cheating and that would negate the entire point of the game. So he hid, the first time curled up in the bright red tubing of a slide and the second under a bench, laughing when she found him and giving her enough time to hide before he started to search for her. Two times, he looked, two times, he found her and when it was finally his turn to hide again, he gave her a wicked grin, made sure her eyes were closed and covered by her fingers before running off. Looking around quickly, he finally found himself a tree with some of the red and orange leaves still attached to its branches. They shook, however, rather hard, rather loudly, as he hopped up into the branches of the tree, ended up about ten feet off the ground and doing his best to stay completely still.
Peering down between the tiny holes of the red-orange canopy, Marijuana tried not to giggle as he drew his power into him to hide him from her senses. Footsteps neared his tree but he just held his breath, biting at his lip to keep from laughing.
