At the first tap, Karl fine-tuned the channel so that there was no doubt that they were given the go-ahead.
His body jolted into action when the signal was finished, pulling off his baseball cap and strapped on a communication mike around his jaw, keeping the radio communication line open and himself alert. Once more forgoing the "TALK" button, Karl switched to the open and live channel with Bravo unit with the flick of his finger as he climbed out of the car and head towards the trunk.
"Bravo come-in, this is Alpha. We have green light, move in."
"Roger that, Alpha. Bravo, moving in. ETA to building, three minutes."
"Copy that, Bravo," Karl confirmed as he strapped on a extra gun to his leg and another leg strap that contained extra cartridges if he needed it. He checked his gun and its own cartridge before slamming it home and locking it in place, flipping the safety off in the process.
"Alpha out."
Closing the trunk, Karl looked both ways down the long road then towards the building as he crossed the street, alert and cautious to any outside activity. Once having successfully crossed the street and straying towards the shadows, Karl listened intently for the sounds inside of the building while he waited for the SWAT unit to come along.
Hugging close to the walls, Karl rounded the building without any problem, only having to knock one man unconscious to complete it. The distant sounds of multiple footsteps alerted him that Bravo team had arrived. And in a matter of minutes, they had reached him and surrounded the building and every exit.
Karl looked across to the team leader on the other side of the door, his hand out in a "wait" signal as he listened, making sure that nothing had come up between those three minutes and Alyssa's last signal. When he was satisfied with the radio silence, Karl nodded and turned to kick the door down.
Immediately, there were shouts of confusion and exclamations as Karl burst through the door, effectively disabling the two lackeys that had been guarding the door with two bursts each before he continued down the long hallway leading down to the meeting room, the main garage of the so-called "storage" building. Once more, Karl waited for the rest of the team to catch up, some of them veered off into the other rooms to check for any other potential threats.
It was the team captain's turn to signal a "wait" to Karl as his team caught up with them. Even if the sounds of their entrance had attracted those inside of the meeting, it was still crucial that they went in as a full force so as to effectively take down everyone in the room, including that of their bodyguards and whoever else was in there with them.
With a silent prayer that Alyssa was already in some kind of hiding spot safe from the chaos that would certainly follow, or have at least a plan to defend herself someway, Karl nodded at the team captain who signaled the "go-ahead".
A single beat later, Karl had broken down the door and trained his gun at the man sitting at the head of the table.
