The collision managed to bring Nimue back to reality. She hurried out from behind the counter to help pick up the scarves that had fallen on the floor, glancing at the girl to make sure she was all right. SHe knelt down and let her hair fall forward to partially shield her face. She was still in shock but had managed to bring up a calmer demeanor, for the simple fact that Arthur didn't seem to recognize her.
And why would he? There had always been more important people for him to worry about, and she was almost no one, just another of the Lady of the Lake's girls. Maybe she had been the one to imprison Merlin, but that was all she'd done. And she didn't think that most people had known about that, anyway.
Nevertheless, as she stood back up and replaced the scarves, she had to admit she was slightly hurt. Here was Arthur, back from the dead, or something, and he didn't even recognize one of his court.
