Who: Orithyia, Iris, and Open What: Catching up, shopping When: Thursday afternoon Where: Shops in NY Warnings: TBD
Lunch had been great. Catching up with Orithyia as she’d wanted to since the other woman had come into the city was just what she needed, and the restaurant Jonathan had found was quite good. If Orithyia had to put up with Boreas, at least she had someone helpful like Jonathan around. Someone nice. Iris had said good things about the assistant but had resisted mentioning Boreas with, she thought, was a great display of restraint. She had grown used to talking around him like there was a blank hole in the family.
Shopping after lunch was proving to be just as enjoyable. It had been awhile since Iris had gone shopping with a friend, and even longer since she’d done so without worrying about the other person noticing how she switched out colours she didn’t like. If Orithyia wanted anything in a particular colour, she had it. Just doing that was amusing Iris to no end. It was also confusing a lot of salespeople.
They’d clothes shopped, and would probably do more it later, but at some point they found themselves looking at furniture to compliment the decorating job Boreas had apparently taken credit for. Iris sank with relief into one plushy chair, letting her bags fall at her feet. “Look at this one! It’s comfortable, Orithyia.”
