Who: MySpace and Indie (Perhaps Emo?) What: Being uncool and eating. When: 6:00 PM Where: Pho Hoai; Brooklyn Warnings: None
It was hard for Indie to ask MySpace to be "uncool" but she supposed her roots were in "uncool-ness". All the kids that had nowhere to post their poetry, their thoughts, wanted attention (with naked pictures) all turned to her. Was she losing her edge? Was she morphing with the kids? It was bothering her that she was thinking so much about it. Indie had certainly touched a nerve in her. Maybe she had no street cred anymore.
Oh my GOD, if Facebook suddenly gets more street cred than me I'll KILL myself.
Today, MySpace skipped out on wearing her usual flashy clothes, instead keeping it low key with a teeshirt that actually covered her stomach and jeans that didn't show a thong. Sneakers replaced stilettos and her hair was close to its natural black color. Indie had better have appreciated this, that little--
But no. This wasn't the time for mean thoughts. She was going to wow him with delicious cuisine and show him that she was just as bad ass as ever.
