The warm weight over her shoulders was a comfortable one and the moment of distraction on her companions part only brought an amused smile to her face.
"Not a peep of it, or if we did, it skimmed right over my head. For all the bloody paperwork and whatnot I've been lost in these past few days, it's amazing I've not got crows feet and a squint for the endless contracts I've had to pour through." Her head fell back to rest against Desmond's shoulder even as she let a hand wander up to rest on his thigh. Fingernails drew idle designs on the fine fabric as the cab bumped along through the city, impishly turning her head to nip playfully at the underside of his jaw.
