Jesse was already blowing smoke out from between his lips. "There ain't so much difference. Two kids, a boy and a girl. A good wife. Only thing peculiar about it is how I got so lucky twice. 'Course, I always did have the best luck," he chuckled, thinking back to some of his more spectacular escapes back in the day.
He nodded when Guns asked about the clients. "A few of 'em. This one woman tracked me down. Another goddess... aparently I stole somewhere around a hundred grand from her. I'm doing some security for her gallery now in order to pay her back." He made a slight face. "Haven't decided whether she's gettin' too close for comfort yet. I found out the other day that she's teaching Mary's fencing class." Which he still didn't believe was a coincidence of any sort.
"Nah, it's all right," Jesse smiled in the end. "It's my own damn fault I sit around her goin' stir crazy, waiting for the rest of you to report back to me. I could be doing things."
