Glancing down at the half empty (or was it half full?) cup of tea, Mary smiled softly. "Thank you, Gabriel." Voice was very quiet, as she lifted the mug once more to finish off the rest of the tea.
"I should go, I told the women at the shelter that I would only be gone for a little while." Pausing, she looked at the empty cup before looking back up at Gabriel and holding out the cup for him to take. "Besides, with this new... threat out and about, I don't feel comfortable leaving them alone for too long." Mary was recalling the woman in the park whom fell victim to sin, and ultimately death.
