"Thanks," he said with a flicker of a smile, reaching into the cotainer to take one. He bit into it almost curiously and made a quiet sound. "S'good," he murmured, trying not to sound surprised. The rest of the cookie disappeared fairly quickly and he dusted his hands off onto the floor.
"There's interesting things," he said, like he'd just realized she'd mentioned it. "Most people just don't notice. Or don't want to notice." He waved a hand at the one or two other people in the car. "Long as they get where they're going, doesn't matter."
