Diligence, keeping an eye on the door as she waited, was considering the situation as a big picture. She knew there were some who would wonder why she didn't just use her influence to direct the mortals attention elsewhere, and she had a perfectly good explanation for that. Metatron had taken her to temple for the Sabbath, and using her powers on this, a day of rest, had just seemed wrong.
She had been unaware previously of the limitations placed upon her human-like form, but now that she had a better idea of what it could handle she was getting ideas on how to deal with it. Maybe she should see if anyone could teach her how to better defend herself, considering her powers weren't exactly useful all the time.
What good was the ability to influence people to work harder if she couldn't find loopholes? This was the major point Diligence was considering as she noticed Caerus walk out. Slipping out of her hiding place, she strolled up next to him with a smile, hoping he wasn't one of the other Gods who automatically loathed Christians. Making friends here had been harder than she liked because of that, even though she was very accepting.
"Hi, I wanted to say thank you. I hope you don't mind that I waited around."
