Who: Heracles and Caerus What: Sibling reunion (the second) When: Saturday night - late Where: Heracles’ place
Seeing Athena, and being able to talk to her, had been great. His first meeting in this city with someone he knew, and it had been family. You couldn’t do better than that. Now, after leaving her place, he was headed for another sibling. Heracles. He had generously offered up a spare room - hardly a surprise to Caerus. His older brother had always been good-hearted. Although, if none of his family had offered to take him in, Caerus would have been shocked. He had not anticipated being homeless for long.
It was getting colder, but Caerus managed to slip onto a bus when the driver was busy getting himself a coffee at a stop. It made things a little more comfortable, and quite a bit warmer once he was out of the wind.
Soon enough, he was off the bus and walking towards his brother’s door. It was a little late, but Caerus was sure Heracles would understand why it had taken him so long to get here. It was Saturday night, though. Hopefully he wouldn’t be interrupting anything or holding his brother back. He found the right door and shivered a little before reaching up and knocking.
