What: Trying to heal the big damn hero's hand.
Where: Beta block.
When: Saturday, after this.
Warnings & Status: PG-13 for blood/swears. Complete!
Yesterday, Tonks had just thought of this Compound as a strange and confusing place, yet somehow sort of brill at the same time. Well, it was sort of cool if you got past all the confusion and realized there were different versions of you and shite like that. Today, however, her opinion had changed entirely. Maybe the other people she'd seen had been right, and this place really was some sort of hell. Tonks could barely keep up with what was going on, but as far as she could tell there were people- people she knew, or versions of them at least- trapped outside and under attack, and the arses that ran this plan were refusing to let them in.
Even bewildered over what was going on, Tonks had joined in with those trying in vain to get the doors open, but it had been to no avail. As far as she could tell, those doors weren't opening until the scientists wanted them to, and right now they sure as all buggering hell didn't want to. People on fire and dying, injured and screaming and under attack, while other people refused to save them or prevented others from helping? It sounded a lot like the war to Tonks, and she wasn't planning on having any of that if she could help it.
But first, her priority was going to be Harry, who was injured as far as she could tell and in need of help. He was one of the few people from 'her world' (wasn't that a weird way to think of things) that she really truly knew, and she wasn't just going to leave him bleeding if she could help. Especially not when she was sure he'd gotten that injury by being the same big hero he always was. Closing her journal the moment Harry said he was in Beta Block, Tonks stuck the thing in the pocket of her purple pants, gripping her wand tightly (and nervously) in the other as she headed towards where she was pretty sure Beta Block was.
