Sirius liked that phrase, alternate-world chemistry. It was easy to have with someone he instantly knew a great deal about. It had been easy to fall into something, some rapport, that was akin to friendship. But it was meeting someone new, getting to know them, the little things, discovering the ways those little things showed true differences. And still, they were a similar person. Peter may have been right about that, or at least, that was partly true. "Yeah?" Sirius looked over at Peter's comment. It was hard to say with Remus, as he wasn't here, but Sirius watched Peter more carefully. That wasn't about him at all was it?
"You did," Sirius smiled, "That was the first time I really put that into words with someone. You really helped." He paused, not saying more because the other comment was still bugging him in his head. "How about you? I feel like there's a lot going on in your head right now. And you're on a roll for remarkably true statements understanding the universe."
