The thing was, Peter no longer needed Sirius to be careful around him. He didn't want this to turn into Sirius being the one who was waiting on Peter's lead, because that would defeat the purpose. He doubted that was actually possible, considering it was Sirius, and he was naturally confident-- but he didn't need tentative. They should be meeting halfway now, rather than Sirius being seventy percent and Peter being thirty percent. Or whatever their previous arrangement had been. Therefore, the suggestion that they break the strings together pleased Peter immensely. He grinned at Sirius, and nodded. "Yeah, we will."
He listened with interest to the description of Sirius's project. He hadn't forgotten that Sirius was a creator, that had been partially the reason why Peter hadn't consulted him on the guitar project. It wasn't supposed to be done by a pro, it was supposed to be done by him. "That sounds like something Remus would really like," he said with a slight smile, feeling a slight pang for his other friend. It had been even longer since he'd had a proper conversation with Remus, even a Remus who wasn't his Remus.
And then the conversation changed topics. Peter was used to that, though, used to the high energy style of Sirius's conversation, and if anything, he'd only gotten better at being able to handle it. "I remember that, yeah," he said. "Is Oscar his first name, then?"
