She was very still as her words hung in the air. She could have responded in defense if she wanted, arguing that her meaning was precisely clear, but clearly it hadn't been since Eris had took it to mean something entirely different. Yet, it didn't seem to matter as she felt the weight of the silence building up on her. Her hand was holding onto Eris' almost for support now as she waited for a response of any kind, refusing to get her hopes up. There was still a part of her that was certain everyone was wrong. Harry, Juniper, Demz, her Father. They could all be seeing something because of how badly Astro wanted it, couldn't they? They could have been wrong. Yet she wanted them to be right.
For a moment, she felt her heart sink at the 'Oh.' The confusion melted away and instead, for a flicker of a second, her expression turned to one preparing for rejection.
At least until she heard the rest. Her head turned upwards and she looked at Eris. She was silent for another moment before a small smile grew. "Yeah?" She found herself saying. It wasn't at all elegant and she didn't doubt the girl but it was the first thing she managed to say. "Good. That's...good," she added as her smile grew with the sense of joy she was suddenly feeling.
