Colin knew it made sense. Dennis was making sense. It was just that he was still on full alert. He was so used to being that way that it was hard to stop being that way. His mind and body were in a state of confusion, both trying to do different things. "I..." He frowned slightly before forcing himself to look unmoved. But then he wasn't supposed to be doing that? "It could be a trap," he whispered, unable to say anything any louder. He was worried that his voice would crack if he spoke any louder. "They could be trying to use you against me."
