Peter's frown deepened. He disliked everything he'd ever heard about the war, and he couldn't help wondering what his own role had been in that particular world. Lily hadn't mentioned him, but maybe that was just to spare his feelings. The Lestranges were obviously the bigger problem, anyway, so he decided not to ask. "He's dangerous, then," he said. "Yeah, I don't blame you for not wanting to run into him."
That problem was solved by having him here and avoiding the dungeons, or at least it seemed to be, so he put that train of thought aside for the moment. He kept pace with her, alert to their surroundings, and rather wishing that he had the map here with him. That would be a surefire way to avoid Lestrange, if it even worked here.
He gave a slight smile at her response. "Yeah. That does sound familiar." He sighed. "Basically, I'm trying to figure out how to have a life here without my wife... because she left, and I don't think she's coming back. I don't think she wanted to stay here. And I'm trying to figure out what it means that I'm actually alright with that."
