Welcome Hogwarts Students! For those of you who've been placed in Houses already, please join your fellow Housemates to your respective tables! If you are not sure where you're headed, please ask your prefects or the Head Boy and Girl. There will first be the Sorting Ceremony and then an extravagant feast prepared for you by Assistants dressed up like the House Elves some of you remember from your time at Hogwarts. Of course, there are actual House Elves but your new Headmistress has a sense of humor.

As for all of you First Years! Mr. Tau will assemble you in a room off of the Great Hall and, when the ceremony is ready to begin, you will be escorted to the front. When your name is called, please approach the stool and confer with the Sorting Hat. After you have been sorted, please proceed to your House's table and prepare for the feast!
