"Vamp out?" Well, that was certainly something new to Alex. He'd never had anyone put it so... bluntly, if oddly. Though, given the tendencies of others, especially those of the Sabbat, he could understand completely why it might be put as such. "No, I have no intentions of any such things. Trust me, have plenty to worry about myself to get involved in such... politics, as it were."
He accepted the offered hand, rising to his feet. "I'm all alone, actually," he said. "Bit of an outcast. Long story, something I'm certain that you're not particularly interested in hearing." He was about to turn and leave, but at hearing her, the tone in which she said it, he stopped. Normally, he was one to keep to himself. It was safer that way. But his empathic side would not allow him to simply walk away from this. He couldn't. She was hurting, and his nature was one of comfort, healing. No matter who or what she was, he couldn't allow her to leave in her suffering.
"Alex," he said. "Technically, Dr. Alessandro Giovanni Corleone, though I haven't gone by my birth name for many years." He reached out a hand. "Having a human side isn't something to be ashamed of, and you don't have to leave. I know how you must be feeling, and... I can help. If you want it."
