Lucy looked up from where she was sorting tickets into their proper bowls. Although she'd assured Alicia that she was only available for one night - she didn't think she could manage anything more in the magical world yet - she was actually quite enjoying herself. The task of selling tickets required no magic, and she had enough muggle and wizarding currency on hand to do on-the-spot conversions for anyone that needed them, doing the maths herself in her head. She felt useful, something she wasn't used to in this environment but definitely liked.

The woman looking down at her was stunning in her blue dress and Lucy felt an instant stab of envy. Hours of shopping with Susan and she hadn't found anything that looked that good. She just wasn't made for dresses, which was fine except for when it wasn't. "Well, I don't know many of the available dates personally, I'm afraid," she said, pushing her hair out of her eyes. "What are you looking for?"

The girl was pretty, if a little young, and Gemma didn't hesitate to be as charming as possible. "Someone pretty, interesting, and definitely female. Perhaps someone a little like yourself," she added with a wink.

Susan rolled her eyes as she walked up to say hello to Lucy. "Down girl," she said to the vaguely familiar woman who was doing her best to chat up Lucy. "At least go for someone who will reciprocate your rather charmingly direct approach."

She turned and grinned at Lucy. "Can I buy some tickets of you dear?"

Lucy smiled, not objecting to the direct approach, even if she wasn't actually interested in women. Given the way she dressed sometimes, this was not the first time she'd been approached by another woman. She pulled the list towards her and glanced over it. "We have a few women. Gwenog, Luna, Cho." Well, that seemed to be it, actually. Lucy had a vague idea that Luna and Cho had been at school at the same time she had, and had no idea who Gwenog Jones might be. "They should all be here by now, if you'd like to go speak to them before buying your tickets."

She turned her attention to Susan, giving her a smile. "Of course. Who would you like tickets for?"

Gemma looked over at the woman who had come to interrupt, who was beautiful in her own right but who she also recognized as an auror who frequented Finnigan's on occasion. Gemma would have to be careful and wary around her. "Unfortunately, I'm neither a legilimens nor a divinator, meaning that I can only tell if someone would reciprocate by asking."

She turned her attention back to the other girl. "That makes my choice more simple, I suppose. I'll take 20 tickets for each of them."

"Excellent." Lucy quickly counted out three sets of twenty tickets. She offered them to her customer with a smile. "If you could just write your name on these, I'll make sure they all go into the proper bowls." Lucy had quickly learned that it was much quicker to have the customers write out their names, since most were able to duplicate the writing with magic. Lucy had made the mistake of trying to write out all Ernie's tickets by hand early on and immediately realised it wasn't a tenable solution.

She smiled between Susan and the dark-haired woman, sensing that they recognised one another. "I don't mind being asked," she said, untroubled. "But I'm afraid Susan's right. I'm not what you're looking for."
