Re: Dean (and NPC Ophelia) and Susan and OPEN
If Ophelia's comment had been a little less in the public eye he might have made something of it, as it was he was sure he'd hear about it later. Susan was an excellent friend, but could be thought to be a little too invested in the love lives of her friends sometimes.
Being used to Susan's scrutiny Dean just sipped at his juice while she looked for whatever cues he didn't realise he was giving off. When she spoke he rolled his eyes. "Sure he's been doing his bit, dragged me out of the studio and off to his parents' place ... huh, start of last week. I hadn't realised it was that long since he dragged me out. He's done his bit though. And I bet he's been busy getting ready for this," he said, frowning slightly. He had seen rather less of Seamus than he usually did and could do with fixing that.
"Yeah? It'll be nice for you to have a fresh start," he said diplomatically. He knew the house held a lot of difficult memories for Susan and as hard as it might be to leave it behind it might also be a good thing for her.
He rolled his eyes. "Sure since it's only a 'date'," he said, making the necessary quotation makes marks with his hands, "but he wasn't one of the options." Justin was though, and Dean assumed Seamus had bought plenty of tickets for him, which made the ghost of a frown pass over his face. He curled an arm around Susan's shoulders and hugged her to his side. "I'm always working towards being as happy as I can be. Most of the time it's going pretty well," he said.
