Re: Dean (and NPC Ophelia) and Susan and OPEN
"Well between you you're more half her boss, but really any percentage of her boss means that you have the upper hand," she said, before patting his arm and smiling winsomely. "But yes, I think you're best bet will be to just get on with it and bunk off to go and 'appreciate art' with one another if she becomes too much of a pain in the backside."
She smiled at the earnestness in the other woman's voice and nodded. "It will definitely be worth it in the end I think. You're all extremely talented."
She winced at the way Dean's eyes widened. Obviously he hadn't mentioned the issue to Ophelia - a fact that wasn't all that surprising if Susan actually thought about it. She glanced at the woman for a moment, wondering hopefully if she'd been momentarily struck blind and dumb, or failing that came from a background with enough good breeding to ignore the faux pas of her boyfriend and his friend completely.
"Yes a bit less philosophical and avant-garde and a bit more trite, but as long as it was entertaining and you enjoyed it, then I'll chalk it down to a win." She rolled her eyes and poked her tongue out at Dean. "Oh come off it handsome, Tennis is utterly bonkers. Nearly as boring as watching the lake in the Triwizard tournament."
She looked around again and grinned lazily. "Still, there's been a good turn out tonight, yes?"
