Rose Zeller ([info]_rose_) wrote in [info]finnigans_rpg,
The mission to Indonesia had been unlike any Rose had ever been on before. Not only because instead of a standard mission to retrieve an ancient artefact or take down wards before historians and Muggle archaeologists entered a place, they had been there to help the local law enforcement gain access to the lair of what they had believed to be a local creature – a boar like beast called babi ngepet – who in the end had turned out to be a dark wizard and unregistered animagus who was using the legends of babi ngepet to hide his identity. It had been exciting, and fortunately, aside from a few scrapes and bumps and miles and miles of drenched clothes, there had been no accidents or injuries. It had also been a new experience to have Dennis there, to have him watch and observe the things that she had only been able to tell him about and see that she wasn’t just making things up, and of course, it always felt good to have a friend there, especially in a place where she had used Eddie’s surname so as not to draw attention to the fact that she was Jewish and where she was generally talked around due to the fact that she was not only the youngest, but also a witch. So even though she had missed Rolf horribly – an entirely new experience – she had enjoyed it, and was at the same time sad to leave but also eager to get back home.

The minute they had arrived at the bank, she had sent a note to Rolf to let him know that she was back and that she would let him know when she was leaving the bank after the mission debrief. Her mind had only wandered briefly in the beginning, but then she had been caught up in the constructive criticism of tactics and techniques that had been used, taken note of what was coming her way and had made her own points clear on where things could have been handled differently. Finally, though, it was time to leave, and as promised she had a note sent ahead of her to let Rolf that she was headed back to the flat, and that if he was busy now, she would come to him right after she had had a shower. That hadn’t been necessary though, she learned, when she had just gathered up the mail that had arrived over the week and half a moment later she was enveloped in strong, warm arms that she would recognise anywhere. She managed to get the mail onto the counter, hoping it would stay, and then the week-long longing took over.

With a grin, Rose moaned into the kiss, wrapping her legs around Rolf’s hip as he carried her to her room. She reached out to push the door shut behind them, but didn’t bother to do anything else before getting undressed became more important. Dennis wasn’t home; Rolf’s greeting had been proof of that, and before she knew it they were a messy heap of tangled limbs, smiles, laughter, moans and thrusts as they did their best to be as close as was physically possible, and preferably even close than that.

Rose was sitting in Rolf’s lap, her legs around his hips and her arms around his neck, smiling and looking up into his beautiful eyes, when a voice that had nothing to do with the sighs and groans they were drawing from each other, alerted her to the fact that they were no longer alone. She looked to the side just in time to see Dennis stumble backwards out of her rom, and had to bite her lips to keep from laughing. “We didn’t close the door?” she asked Rolf, her hips still rolling against his – because, oh sweet Helga, it felt good – though he knew that proper etiquette probably called for them to stop… and Rolf was probably going to do just that at any moment now.
