Owl to Lavender Brown
Dear Ms Brown,

Susan Bones told me I should owl you with something I've stumbled across recently. The last few months, we've been taking in more injured Crups than usual, and Luna Lovegood has as well at her veterinary. She and I have investigated to the extent of making certain there is no wild population growing in the area, and we suspect there might be a Crup fighting ring.

Let me know if I can help out somehow.

Regards,

Rolf Scamander

Dear Ms Brown,

I do. I'm attaching copies of the last four months worth of records to this letter for your perusal. This doesn't count the ones that came independently to Luna, though some of her records cross mine where I've had to have the animals looked over. There are some photos and a couple sketches (the camera broke for a few weeks). I understand perfectly the love of paperwork in matters such as this. I also included our notes when we went looking in several areas that would draw a wild population, and the lack we found there.

Regards,

Rolf Scamander
