[Carried to The Bestiary by Aeolus, with instructions to wait for a response.]

Mr. Scamander,

I am moving to London in the near future, and as I have several pets in addition to my familiar, I anticipate using your shop on a regular basis. How might I go about opening an account with you, and what are the pertinent details? Will I be able to set up a bi-weekly or monthly pick-up? I would also like to know what your policy is on special orders: one of my cats now requires a special diet, and I would need your assistance in procuring something suitable.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Millicent Bulstrode

Dear Ms Bulstrode,

Your owl is very well mannered. I thought I should compliment him to you.

Certainly you can open an account with us. I can get one set up but you'll have to come in to sign off on it in person before it is verified. Pick ups depend on what you prefer - we can go either route. As for special orders, just let me know what you want and I can keep it in stock, or we can discuss substitutes. I often work with the local vet, Luna Lovegood, so we can consult with her as needed.

Thank you for coming to me with your business. I look forward to helping you with whatever I can.

Regards,

Mr. Scamander,

Thank you; I had been curious why Aeolus seemed so chuffed when he returned. Whatever treat you gave him has made an impression.

I will be in the city this Tuesday, and could stop by the shop in the afternoon to take care of my part of things. Do you require account settlements at the beginning, middle, or end of the month? I think it might be best for now to pick up my orders on a bi-weekly basis, at least until the animals are settled into their new routines, and I have a feel for what they need.

She has been having digestive problems, so our family veterinarian has advised that I look into certain brands, the list of which I have enclosed with this. If you carry any of them, or can get them, I would like to begin as soon as possible finding a food she'll eat.

Sincerely,
Millicent Bulstrode

Ms Bulstrode,

I'll set aside a container of them for you. They're relatively new but I'm already a fan of them. I'd attach samples but I fear they'd be gone before he arrived home to you.

Tuesday will be fine. We can set a date that works best for you; we try to be accommodating with such things. There's a limit to start with but once a customer proves reliable, we extend such things as a matter of course. That sounds like a good plan, and feel free to bring any of them in to visit. My familiar often roams the shop, herself.

We carry two of those and I could get the others. There's also some potion supplements you could add. I'll ask Luna for details on such, just to be sure.

Regards,

Mr. Scamander,

Tuesday at 3, then, and I will plan to make orders and settle balances in the middle of every month. Do you carry stock for birds as well as animals? I have a second owl and a canary in addition to Aeolus, and would be pleased to be able to do all my shopping in one place.

I see which ones you've marked, and I'd like to try the first of them this week, if you'd be so good as to set aside a small bag of it. They're fed twice a day. Perhaps about a week's worth? Do you sell bowls specially warded for animals whose food cannot be shared with others?

Thank you,
Millicent Bulstrode

Ms Bulstrode,

The middle works perfectly well. I have the basic paperwork in front of me now, ready for you when you come in. I do carry stock for birds; we sell some owls and other birds, including some exotic breeds. We try to be the place to come for all your animal needs.

I've set some aside under the counter for you as well. You should be able to pick it all up when you come in to sign on the account. And yes, we have several types of bowls with different ward options, so you'll have a selection to choose from.

Regards,

Rolf Scamander
