I'm always up to try new things, and while thanks aren't required, they're still nice to give, especially for such a thoughtful gesture.
I'm sorry to hear that. My Bert has been depressed at times, but he's never lost a child before. Some of my patients, however, have, and it has been a very difficult process, and one that's very individual to the person. There's really no one-size-fits-all solution to mourning. It sounds to me like you're giving them excellent support and not allowing them to be alone. Sometimes, that's all we can do.
I've had a good week and weekend. Today we celebrated a friend's birthday and it was nice to have everyone around with smiles on their faces and dancing and eating. Back to work tomorrow, though.
