Gemma was thankful for magical recordings, as they allowed her to perform without needing a band for backup. Not that she wouldn't welcome a band, but the likelihood of finding one wasn't too high at the moment, so she settled for second best. Tonight, she did a Weird Sisters song, then another by Heart (she chose Heartless), and as often happened when she wailed a little, she needed a drink.

Her heeled boots clicking against the floor, she strode over to the bar and bought a beer. It went down so nicely, refreshing her throat with much needed moisture. She leaned back against the bar and looked over the crowd, wondering what she would do for the rest of the night, and who here might be in need of some of her unofficial services.

"That's what I'm banking on with her," Pansy said, studying the girl as she moved into her next song. Transitions needed work, and she was visibly losing her stamina as she pranced around the stage. Both things that would need serious work if Pansy was going to make her into a star. Since Pansy didn't fail, the girl was going to have to work harder.

She took a sip of wine, and smiled serenely at Gemma. "Modesty is overrated. Why should I pretend to be less than I am?" At least now that she didn't have any reason to, and hadn't for years. "You're one of the few I would consider it for darling." It wasn't that she hadn't given any thought to flying on the other side of the pitch, so to speak, but there were just so many men to go through there just wasn't time.

Gemma smirked as the girl onstage seemed to lose steam. "Maybe it could help if you tell her that if she finishes her set too early, you'll loose a wild kneazle on her. Could be fun to see her reaction, at least."

"Modesty has its uses, with the right people, but not here. I certainly enjoy you at your full self, and the rest can go hang themselves." She bit her bottom lips, momentarily imagining what she could do to Pansy that would have her forgetting about men completely. "Well, you know where I am if you're ever in the mood for a change of taste."

It looked like the girl was beginning to wrap up her set. "It looks like your girl's about done, so I shouldn't keep you. Good luck with her, though. She looks to be a challenge."

"Don't worry, she knows I can do a lot worse." As if sensing Pansy's ire, the girl picked up the energy and finished the song with a flourish. There was a respectable amount of applause, and someone even shouted out for an encore. If Pansy had paid the man handsomely for that, no one had to know, but the crowd got into it and she launched into a fourth song with even more energy than before.

Pansy didn't miss the thoughtful look Gemma gave her, and enjoyed the attention at the least. "You'll be the first to know, darling." She didn't mind flirting with women, and Gemma was more enjoyable than most.

The encore was winding down and Pansy knew she had to be at offstage by the time she was done, showing the appropriate amount of excitement for her client. "Thank you, Gemma. I'll see you soon, at the salon if nothing else." She kissed the other woman's cheek, then headed to the stage.
