Cho felt like it was Christmas morning. She awoke refreshed and excited and anxious all at once. Carmen was already in the kitchen, making tea from the sound of things, and Cho threw on a casual outfit before putting her hair in a high pony tail. This time tomorrow her flat would be hers again and she felt blessed that Richard had given her the space, and what she knew to be a really good deal, as well.
"Morning, lovely," she chirped, coming out of the bathroom having brushed her tea and gratefully taking the strong cup of tea that Carmen handed her. "Ready for this?"
"I will be once Amanda gets here. She talked my ear off on the floo all night about her promotion to 'full time Admin Assistant' and I'm ready to wallop her, I hardly got a wink of sleep." Her voice was annoyed but she smiled, so Cho knew she was joking, mostly. Carmen was a bit hard to get a smile out of, but Amanda - a year younger than Carmen and barely 21 - had a positive energy that was positively contagious.
"Well at least we're pretty sure she won't be late," just then there was a knock at the door and Amanda came whirling through the apartment all bright colors and extra moving supplies. She really was excited to be taking over Carmen's full time position, now that Carmen had been promoted to full time Events. Soon they'd need at least one more Events Assistant, but Cho would worry about that after she'd paid a couple of months of rent, she figured.
"Morning ladies!" Amanda beamed at them, already getting to work on taping the last of the boxes up and shrinking some of them down which Cho and Carmen just shook their heads and sipped their tea, wondering where on earth she got the energy. Cho's friends would be joining soon and she figured they'd all walk a box over to Diagon, to get the feel for the place and see it themselves, and then could Apparate over with the shrunken boxes for the rest of the things. Cho was confident the boxes wouldn't take long and unpacking of everything could be finished by late afternoon. She'd already ordered pizzas to be delivered around lunch time and figured she could buy a round at Finnigan's after unpacking if anyone wanted to stick around help her and her employees with that bit.
