Rolf had put one arm around Rose before they’d both touched the timed Port Key to Greece. He was restless and definitely excited. Being in one place for several months had been a lot harder than he’d thought. Though he did long term projects – up to a year at a time, generally – there was usually still a fair amount of travel involved. Being forced into one place had chafed more than he realized, and he needed this vacation.
He grinned happily down at Rose as the whirling feeling of being pulled through space went away. He was an old hand at Port Keys, and he imagined she was as well. “Ready to begin our adventure?” he asked, stepping away but offering her his hand. He gave a jaunty wave to the Ministry official with the other, eager for them to get out into the warm Greek sun and start their fun.
