"She doesn't like me." It wasn't exactly the first time Greg had run into someone who didn't like him and contrary to popular opinion he was not too stupid to tell. With Mrs McHavelock he wasn't sure if it was because of his involvement in the war, his family name, Pansy's demands or just the fact that he was too big and too intimidating. It didn't matter, he couldn't change any of them.
He nodded at Marcus's assessment of the game, smiling a little. "Congratulations." He liked when the Arrows won and this season they seemed to be doing very well. "It's... Davies that's injured, right?" He frowned. He didn't want anything mucking up his team's chances. "Going to be back soon?"
Following Marcus's eyes to the couch, he laughed and held up a hand as if to say 'no shopping'. "Pansy already took care of it. New furniture's arriving while I'm at work on Monday." He had mostly let Pansy make the decisions, but he had insisted on testing the couch and had settled for something with a high back and deep cushions. He was looking forward to its arrival. "The pub sounds good."
