Who: Aidan Lynch and Luna Lovegood
What: Having lunch and meeting each other for real.

Though Luna had briefly met Aidan the other day when she was helping out the hippogriff's that had been stuck, she didn't have time to get to know him, or talk to him really. That being said, she was still a little surprised that he had just asked her out to lunch. Not that Luna ever said no to having lunch with someone nice. She hoped he was nice, he seemed nice. Looks could be deceiving though, she generally believed the best in everyone and was way too optimistic.

It was more near dinner than lunch, but that didn't bother her. She was only a couple of hours away from closing up the vets office, so she let everyone go home and closed up early. Why not? When she was done, she made her way over to Finnigan's and opened the door to look around and see if Aidan was here yet. When she spotted him, she gave a wave and wandered over.

"Hello, Aidan. Thank you for inviting me to lunch."

Aidan had taken a quick shower and changed into presentable clothes before heading off to Finnigan's. He had claimed a table and was waiting for Luna to arrive, staring at the ceiling primarily. He was almost startled when a voice called his name, and he quickly stood up as she came near.

"Hello," Aidan said politely, holding out his hand to shake. "You're welcome, thank you for accepting." Once hands had been shaken, he pulled out her chair for her. "Has your day been well?"

Reaching out her hand, she gave his a shake with a bright smile. "Oh you're welcome. I like lunch." Well obviously. With a small nod of thanks of her head, she slipped into the seat. She almost said something about free lunch, but figured that it wasn't polite to insinuate that she was only here for free food.

"Oh my day has been well. I closed the shop early and let everyone go home. They were appreciative. I don't mind having a short day myself. How are you?" she asked.

	Aidan hated the the phrase 'used to' , it made him sound like some washed up has been. He still was a Quidditch player. But for company's sake, he nodded. "I played for the Kestrels for several years. Are you a fan of the game?" This made no difference to Aidan, Luna didn't seem the type to turn into a crazy fan. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Oh yes. I love Quidditch. I used to announce for games back in school. Not very often, and only when no one else could do it. But it was lots of fun, I loved watching." And she really wished that she would have been good enough to play, but it was probably better than she was at flying and the whole thing. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That piqued Aidan's interest. "Really? That sounds fun. I definitely prefer to play but I can see where announcing would be just as interesting. Did you ever play? 	Luna shook her head a little shyly, "Oh no. I'm not very good on a broom. But I am slowly learning how to be better. At least I was until I got busy." She was always busy with work. "I fear that I'd be a bit more than distracted by everything." (Reply to this) (Parent)
