Frankly, it felt odd to only be following Quidditch from the sidelines. Well, all right, in her professional career, Alicia had only followed Quidditch from the sideline, but she had been part of the team, responsible for their physical state an all that. But now she wasn’t. Now, she was a student, she was going to school, she was doing homework right along with her children and she was loving every moment of it.

Of course, it did put a damper on her mood that two of her best friends’ teams had lost this weekend, but with Angie around and her penchant for dancing, it had only felt natural for Alicia to go along those lines and take advantage of that.

She had slipped into the shiny black dress she had, and met up with the girls and had Apparated from the garden to the Apparation spot closest to Wingbeat.

The music was loud and imposing and just perfect. Though she knew that Adrian wouldn’t be around until later, she still looked around to see if she could spot him and before she knew they were by the bar.

“First round’s on me!” She announced, and waved for the bartender to get a tab started in her name.

It was all ready about half past eleven by the time Adrian had cleaned himself up and gotten to the club to meet Alicia. He wore his usual black jacket with a t-shirt and jeans, but didn't particular care that the bouncer looked at him like he was dressed down. He was one of the most wealthy business owners on Monument, and he knew it, he could dress how he damned well please.

He went to the bar to get himself a whiskey on the rocks and watched for his girlfriend in the crowd.

Alicia was just about to suggest Katie that they go get a drink, when she glanced to the bar and saw Adrian standing there, looking for all the world like he was made to be there. Their eyes met for a moment, long enough for her to nod that yes, she had seen him, before she leaned in to let Katie know that she was just going to go get a drink and that she was welcome to join her at the bar.

Still moving the music, she made her way through the crowd until she was in front of Adrian, greeting him with a kiss that bordered on inappropriate and revealed that at this point she was at least on the tipsy side of sober.
