[Ward to Viktor, Montrose Players, and McLaggen]

So, I'm considering upgrading my Cleanswep 15 and/or just adding to the collection. Truth is -- I just want something new and shiny!

I've maxed out on how many personalizations I can add to most of my current brooms in terms of remaining pitch legal. Anyway, if you have any suggestions or preferences let me know.

Or, you know, just talk me out of it. Because frivelous purchasing is silly.

I think you just answered your own question with that whole "some of us chose better than others" remark to a comment that merely meant you, as well as others who have similar jobs, have a job that allows you several months off for middle of the day activities while I have a job that does not provide such benefits to me in such a consistent way (unless we're counting me getting hurt on the job, which I'm not since it isn't fun getting hospitalised, and I'd prefer not to get hospitalised again). ~~Thanks so much for putting my dragon shite of a life in perspective.~~

Besides, everyone knows I don't have hopes and dreams. I have fears and nightmares that I hope to one day bring to life in my bid for world domination, or at least my bid for ruling a medium sized island nation with major exports that include, but are not limited to, coconuts, sugar, and the blood and tears of my enemies in a bath and beauty line to compete with Lady Carmilla Sanguina's line of products. Really, there's a large market for these things, and I don't see why I can't take a share of it for myself. Still working on a name for that line. And the acquisition of the island.

	They're only constraining if you have the wrong word-age in your contract. If you want to make good money, you don't only play but you get in on those things. It's your agent's job to make sure it's not constraining. I do have contracts. Not as many as I used to but that's by choice, but endorsements are the second lifeblood of the game. It all depends on what you want. I've made it work for me rather well. You're not going to make the best money if you don't start fostering those sorts of relationships.

I favor Nimbus as a brand, but I prefer a custom broom rather than anything anyone makes off the shelf. Nimbus is more than willing ot work with me on this, as are pretty much every brand. I also do my own pitch-legal tweaks once I get it. But I will probably go Nimbus when I buy Tsveta her next broom too. My sister favors a Bulgarian broom maker, but I find his brooms are slow on the turn -- but she is no a Seeker, typically, so this is not so much an issue.
