Journal: Happy 4th of July!
Happy Fourth of July to my fellow transplants. Yes, I'm not American, but I'm HALF American. But I also spent like half of my life IN AMERICA, too. We used to always drag my Aunt & Uncle into Boston to see the fireworks at the Esplanade and it was always totally magical. Today makes me miss my family there, my cousin Andie especially, and so I'm sending out love from across the ocean and toasting a delicious Kentucky bourbon here at the house.

Boston to New York is what, three or four hours? I'm sure we could manage that.

4-5 hours in my experience, but completely doable. I'm in.
