Journal - Wanderer Returns
Well hello, Britain. I am returned, and now I've been to the pub and been provided with this thing.

Actually I'm still there right now. I have food, and a list of activities I can sign up to. It's all flipping awesome.

What I don't have already is somewhere to live. I am in a hotel which is nice, but I need to find a place.

Also I have seen two matches in two days! Gotta keep an eye on the competition! And tonight I've got to go cheer on my new team. For those who don't know I'm joining Appleby Arrows when the new season starts up. I've just come back from New Zealand where I've been playing for the Moutohora Macaws. My stuff has mostly arrived.

My bike apparently requires special transport and it arrives on Monday. As does Smudge.

Who wants to catch up?

Yep, really. Mandy moved out back in January (I think it was) and I haven't found another tenant yet. Not that I need one, but it's there, and since you need a place and both me and the kids would love to have you here, I couldn't think of a better solution. As for the bike, well, we have a shed for the twins' bikes and scooters, so there should be room for your bike as well. And no, I don't mind the cat either.

Glad to hear he agrees with that very sensible point!

You're the best. I'll move as soon as I can, but I'll probably be busy doing 'we know we have you but now we have to impress you more' things for the Arrows. As long as the shed is secure that should be okay. I'll have to make sure the twins know not to touch it though. Flying motorbikes and small children are not a great combo.

The tiny, furry escape artist won't arrive at the flat right away. Smudge has to sit in kitty prison/quarantine for a week first. At least it's nowhere near as long as a muggle cat would need.
