RP: Dinner!
Who: Susan, Dean, Eddie, Ernie, Hannah, Justin, Megan, Rolf, Rose and Seamus.

Where: Susan's flat

When: Friday 5th September, 7pm

Rating: SFW

To say that Susan had had an interesting day was perhaps one of the greatest understatements since 'Hey, if we point sticks at one another our magic is scarier!' Her day had been equal parts annoying, awesome, and confusing, and the prospect of having her friends around for dinner had been one of the things that had kept her powering through her sleep deprived state. The brandy and wine at Rose's had helped too. Still, she had just enough time after seeing Rose to rush to the supermarket and buy panic buy enough products to feed a Quidditch match.

Two hours later: her kitchen smelled amazing, and she'd managed enough just enough downtime to slip into a cute little dress. She was just vaguely wondering where all the people were when the doorbell rang, and the first of her guests arrived.

"I just might have to do that." He wouldn't, though. If Seamus was making Justin this happy, Ernie wasn't going to intrude on that in any way, shape, or form.

Ernie shook his head in a happily frustrated gesture, then moved to kiss Justin's temple. "It sounds absolutely brilliant. Isn't that how it's supposed to be? Easy and never awkward?" Not that Ernie knew anything about it other than daydreams and romance novels. Oh, he'd had boyfriends before and everything that came with them, but while they'd been fun, there hadn't been that soulmate feeling that he'd always dreamed of. "Don't listen to me, you just take it as you need it. Sometimes it takes time, and you have all the time in the world to shag on Sundays... or whatever day of the week you like."

He grinned and finally let go of Justin. "So, aside from getting well-shagged, how was your week? Are you ready to come work at mine next week?"

Justin chuckled. "How would I know. None of this ever happened to me before. He's my first and, you know.." He looked around, not wanting this bit of info to be heard. "The only one actually." There hadn't been much time before the war took of, then he was studying to get better at fighting, then he was in jail and once he was out he was too traumatized to let anyone touch him.

"My week was terribly full and I managed to get Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I was given the evening shifts in yours though."

"I know," Ernie replied with a solemn nod. "I'm just happy for you, is all. Anyone who can put a smile on this face is worthy of you." Because if he wasn't, then Ernie would step in and kick the bloke's arse, friend or not. Nobody messed with his closest mates.

"You're lucky, I'm working Sunday through Thursday, mid-day shifts, so we'll have a couple of hours overlap I think. If you're doing the usual schedule, you'll be taking your first break when I get off shift, so maybe we can have dinner then?"

He chuckled and bit his lower lip. "I have a feeling I'm going to like next week." He said. "Yeah, we can have dinner at that moment, that sounds perfect actually." He didn't know what kind of week it would be, but it certainly sounded more relaxed than emergency. A nice change of pace.
