Susan watched impassively as Dean open and closed his mouth several times, obviously blind sighted by his suggestion. To be fair on him, she probably had, although she’d been thinking about the possibility for a while. Originally, the plan had been for her brother to move in with her once he’d finished school as he was going to train to be a Hit Wizard. Then, his girlfriend had decided to train to become a Cursebreaker, and he’d impulsively decided to join her, and found to everyone’s surprise that he really enjoyed it. In the end his girlfriend had dropped out, and he hadn’t . Now, he was nearly finished his training and would soon be travelling around the world for the bank, so he wouldn’t need to live with her permanently. This had left Susan in a dilemma, as being alone in the house had slowly begun to drive her crazy no matter how much she loved it. Thus she had decided to ask Dean.
"I totally understand, and I don’t want to pressure you or make you feel like you’re obligated to agree to anything," she said, raising her palms as though in supplication. "The fact that you’re a work obsessed insomniac with PTSD who wakes up from nightmares and cooks for half the night doesn't bother me in the least," she said with a half-smile. "I’m a work obsessed Auror with trust issues and a penchant for making horrible relationship choices, and an almost pathological need to look after my friends. Also, I'd put you on the ground floor so being in the kitchen wouldn't bother me at all," She smiled warmly and kissed him on the cheek, expertly hiding her disappointment. "I'll let the matter drop," she added, picking up the wine and walking out of the kitchen before stopping and looking over her shoulder. "Although I feel I should add that you do yourself a disservice by thinking that you're a bad person - to live with or otherwise. You're not, handsome. You just think you are."
