Rose bit her lip hard and sent Dean a smile of apology for startling him like that. She would definitely keep that in mind the next time she saw him: Dean was skittish. Of course, that look of apology gave way to one of not really understanding. “Why?” she asked him. “Why’d you need to explain that? It’s not like I’d cast an Impertubable on myself when working on a Curse even if it was during the Monsoon.” Besides, if she had the chance and opportunity to paint naked anywhere, she would take it without hesitation.
“Without knowing all that much about these fine gentlemen,” Rose continued Seamus’ addition, “I’m sure we can create enough drama to last you for at least a ye-we-uhm... day. Maybe two.” She looked up at Susan. Yes, they had been hitting the țuică pretty hard, but that didn’t mean that what Susan had said hadn’t seeped in along with the alcohol. The difference was, that now it had had time to settle in. So could Eddie make her happy? Rose didn’t doubt that Eddie could make just about anybody very happy if he put his mind to it, it was what happened when whoever he was making happy was out of sight. Then again, maybe Susan was the one who could hold his attention longer than the average length of a mission.
