Rose quirked an eyebrow, highly impressed by the painting Susan had just pointed out and turned to let Dean know just that, only to find him with his head in his hands. “It’s amazing,” she told him, gently patting his knee in an attempt to comfort him. “And I’m a Cursebreaker, so when I’m out on a mission, all depending on the climate and the weather I usually have either mud or dust everywhere. Not just the easy to reach places either.
Dean, however, wasn’t the only one looking uncomfortable; Susan had him easily beat there, though for some reason Seamus look almost relieved. Without thinking, Rose shifted a little and let her fingers thread through Susan’s as she nodded; Seamus’ take on things actually made sense to her, and she had already heard this uncomfortable part about feelings from Susan. “You felt things for Eddie before too,” she reminded her. “He was your friend as well.” Maybe this wasn’t nearly as bad as she had first thought, at least not from the Susan angle. The Eddie angle, however, had the potential of being very uncomfortable, if for no other reason than him and Susan being something was a risk of him being distracted whenever away from her, and Rose didn’t like that aspect one bit at all.
