RP: Thursday afternoon at Quickpulse
Who: Romi & OPEN
What: Romi runs the afternoon shift
Where: Quickpulse, Monument Alley
When: Thursday, September 4 – afternoon
Rating: Adult

Romi had put out a chalkboard sign announcing "ladies night" at Quickpulse. Buy one get one free on all ladies toys. As such, the place had been busier than usual for a Thursday afternoon, but she was grateful for it. Lots of good looking young witches came in with their friends, Romi eyeing them all, wondering if she might a good floo address by the end of the night when she shut down at 8. It never hurt to offer to show a customer how to use a toy in the privacy on their own home.

More than once Romilda had found herself daydreaming as she rang up purchases - wondering what a particular woman might taste like, or if the younger customers (all over 17 of course) had ever gone outside the hetero box. The daydreams had kept a smile on her face and her feet light all day, and as the last of a rush headed out with their bags, she sat behind the counter to go over some paperwork from August's inventory while she had a moment. Even the store's books couldn't get her down tonight.

Despite her complaints to Eddie on the journal, Rose loved her job. She loved the travelling, she loved the intense focus of bit by bit breaking down a centuries old curse. She even loved the dust and the mud, the heat and the intense cold. Mostly, though, she loved the team that she had been assigned to, who had taken her in and given her the chance to make her own place, always supportive, even in their challenges of her work and knowledge. Of course, after a mission like their most recent, she loved coming home – she even felt a touch of intense affection for Pucey, who had so readily supplied her with extra Bruise Healing Paste and even a salve that had made the soreness of her ribs disappear within minutes – but she had to admit it didn’t take long from coming home until she was itching to go somewhere, do something, anything. Usually that wasn’t too much of a problem, but today had just been… Sweet Helga she felt restless today. She had even gone so far as to spending a couple of hours at the bank going through the paperwork for the Peru mission.

Rose had been headed to Finnigan’s figuring that if nothing else, at least there was Seamus who was always good for a drink and a smile, or maybe Dominic, whom she had nothing but admiration and adoration for – that man… Rose figured that if she was older and had been the type who was actually looking to settle down and if Dominic had been that type of man, too, he would be the kind of person she would settle down with. Neither were, but that didn’t make him less than good company. Anyway, she had been on her way to Finnigan’s when the seen the sign outside Quickpulse and sheer intrigue had lured her inside. To say that she was a frequent customer would be an overstatement, but she was familiar with the concept; she just hadn’t really had the need for it.

Smiling at the witch behind the counter, holding her eyes for a moment longer than was strictly necessary she began looking around, idly trailing the tip of her finger along the edge of the shelf as she went.

When the young witch entered, Romi put her papers aside and watched her. The stranger held her gaze for a touch too long and when she moved on, Romi smiled, coming around the counter top to approach her.

"Looking for anything in particular today?" She asked, coming up behind her but not too close to be considered improper - yet.

There were a lot of interesting things in the shop, both objects that Rose wondered how she could possibly do without as well as others that she didn’t find particularly interesting. She sensed another person behind her, the presence making her stop, before she was addressed. “I’m always looking for the best,” she mused, a small smile of intrigue on her lips as she turned to find the alluring witch from the counter standing right there. “Something that doesn’t just focus on the most obvious.” She paused for a beat. “Do you have anything in particular that you’d recommend?”

Romi couldn't help her smile at Roses' shopping description. "Nothing but the best here, of course," Romilda hadn't opened her own shop for the fun of it after all.

"The beauty is often found in the subtle details," Romilda nodded her head slowly, thinking about how something as small as the right brush of skin against your collar bone could make or break an encounter.

"I have some lovely pieces, I'm sure, but you do know you'll have to tell me more than that if I'm to be of any help at all," she gave a mischevious smile, stepping just a bit closer and reaching past Rose - moving into her body space of course - to snatch up a pair of lace panties off the rack. "Something like these, for example, just wouldn't do you justice," her voice, despite her young age and proclivity for being dominated (rather than the opposite) dripped experience and wisdom.

“Of course,” Rose said with a small smirk pursing her lips. Whether Quicksilver really did carry ‘nothing but the best’ remained to be seen, of course.

Her smile widened slightly as she blinked slowly in agreement with that statement; details was what made her job as a Cursebreaker interesting and it was what set people apart. In this case, details were what made the difference between a good and a bad lover.

Tilting her head, Rose turned slightly, following Romilda’s move towards her to chase the enticing scent of her perfume. When she held up the lace panties, though, Romilda quirked an eyebrow and reached up brushing her fingers against Romilda’s as she took the lace from her and put it back on the shelf. “I don’t wear lace,” she told, biting back a chuckle at just how uncomfortable lace was to wear under her much preferred leather or dragon hide. “But kisses are a good place to start.”

"Kisses?" Romi raised a perfectly groomed eyebrow and smiled. "And do you have someone whose kisses you're hoping to enhance by a trip to Quickpulse?"

Romilda moved past the girl just a bit, to the edible panties, "Something like these perhaps, then?"

“Well,” Rose mused as her eyes travelled across the slender witch’s clavicles, “that remains to be seen, but for now… I travel a lot, so something that could both enhance and replace.”

Following the shop witch, Rose scored her teeth over her lip to keep from smiling as she saw the edible panties. “Let’s steer clear of the underwear,” she suggested and nodded towards one of the other shelves. “Sensory Charms or Charmed objects, what do you have there?”
