Bryony would never have asked what a 'bus' was - she assumed it was a muggle term and she always felt embarrassed about her lack of familiarity with a world that was larger than her own. The translation was much appreciated, and she gave another shy smile. She wanted to know more about the muggle world, she was just a little nervous of experiencing it in real life, and academically she tended to concentrate on the art side.
"Ravenclaw?" she asked curiously, looking up at Dennis and studying his face. He seemed a little familiar, like they'd probably been at school at the same time but not really familiar enough for Ravenclaw - unless he'd just changed a lot in the intervening years. Bryony hadn't kept up with all that many of her former housemates after graduating. He was quite cute, and Bryony quickly looked away. It wasn't often she slipped into such thoughts - and for good reason. No one would want her to think they were attractive. But then he was offering his hand and Bryony's manners snapped back into place as she looked back to introduce herself. "Bryony Capper."
