I'm afraid that my father passed away yesterday. There will be a funeral on Thursday, at 1pm for anyone who wishes to attend.

The vets will be closed until Friday probably. Thank you for understanding.

Luna, I know you don't know me well but my mother knew your father and my family will be attending on Thursday. She'd also like me to pass on a donation to the vets in his name, please just let me know when things have settled the best way for me to do that.

I know you don't know me, I know we've never met, but Rolf has always spoken highly of both you and your father. I am so sorry for you loss, and if there is anything you need, let me know.

I am so sorry to hear that, Luna. Your father was a good man, and I'm sure he will be much missed. Loss is never easy.

I have taken the liberty of owling my parents in case they hadn't heard, so please expect my mother to offer food and a great many other things before the day is out.

I'd appreciate it. Hermione and Dominic are here to help, but I just.. I wasn't old enough to know how to do this with my mother. I know what he wanted, but I'm still not sure how to go about it all.

Give me about an hour to get out some owls and put the necessary people on standby and I'll be over. You and I will need to sit down for a bit so you can fill me in on what your father's wishes were, and how you think they should be carried out. I'll do as much as I can for you from there.

I took the liberty of ordering several meals worth of this and that sent over to your house. Don't forget to take care of yourself. Eat a little, sit down for a cup of tea, try your best to remember the good times you and your father shared. It does help you get through this.

Spend a little time on yourself. Don't worry about the paperwork for now; I'll have a solicitor by later to look it all over and help you with it. It will keep until then.
