Thanks for the truffles! I defended (most of) them valiantly from my housemates.

(Though I let Alexander have one. He does puppy dog eyes even better than 11-year-old Owen, which is kind of sad.)

I'm thinking of taking a few hours off work this week or next week for that music karaoke whatever thing that Finnegan's does. You want to come? Drinks on me.

Oh, I thought you might like them, but am even happier to hear that you did. It seems the truffles were a big hit, so I am definitely keeping the recipe. Also, I have some left that I can have sent over. Not until tomorrow, though: I am NOT leaving my flat today for anything. Not even truffles.

Open mic night on Friday? Is that what you had in mind? Either way, I'd love to go, and you don't have to pay for drinks.

	They were delicious. So definitely a hit. And Red Velvet is awesome. And do take your time at home and rest. You deserve it after making all those treats. Yeah, that! 	I may or may not have celebrated a bit too much last night, so I'm spending the day on the sofa. Still glad that you like the truffles, though. I would love to go to the club after, but I have a shop to run on Saturday and cakes to decorate very early on Saturday, so I'll have to pass on that.
