Journal: Blaise Zabini

Melinda, I need to let you know that I was called into a session today that may have repercussions for you. The Irish team is claiming that the Ministry purposefully ordered almond scones the day of the match between Ireland and London. It seems one of their teammates has an allergy to almonds and had to take a potion to control the allergy which inhibited her ability to focus properly during the game that decided the match. There will likely be an article about it in tomorrow's Prophet I wanted you to be aware.

I will be at Finnigan's tonight after work sitting at the bar if anyone wants to join me.

It was the least I could do.

I'm fairly sure it's just a ploy to save face. The claim though isn't that they were eaten. They are claiming the proximity of the pastry to the individual caused her to take a precautionary potion that made her lose focus and impacted her performance during the tournament.

I will be fine. Nothing we did was wrong and I sincerely doubt anything will come of it all.
