Journal: Alicia
My tenant has just given me notice that she’ll be moving out, which is a little sad, because I’m going to miss her greatly.

On the other hand, it also means that the lower ground floor flat of my house is now up for rent and I’m looking for a tenant. The house is located in Muggle London – Sheffield Terrace, to be precise. The flat has 1 bedroom, study, dining room, reception area, kitchen, a bathroom and there are 2 patio outdoor areas. On top of that, the entire building it suitable for reasonable use of magic without it causing trouble for the neighbours.

Let me know if anyone is interested or in need of a place like this, and I will be happy to find a way to make it happen.

How much light does the flat get? What with it being below ground floor. I hadn't considered moving, but it's worth a thought.

Oh, and I suppose I should ask what sort of rent you'd be asking for.

The reception area, the dining room, and the bedroom are all what I'd call pretty light (natural light), while the rest is lit to make up for it being the lower ground floor. It's not completely underground, only lowered a little.

You're welcome to stop by and have a look for yourself.

I'm not renting the flat out for profit, simply because it's a waste to leave it unused, so I'm only asking for what would cover utilities.

I should have specified natural light, that was what I'd meant. I miss it if I don't have some at home too!

Thanks for the info. For now I'll just think about it. I'm not sure if it wouldn't cause another argument. And the stress is bad for my PTSD It's not like I don't have a place already.

Think about it, and then get back to me if you're interested, or even if you just want to take a look.

Given it's attached to a house, how quiet is it? Does it have its own private entrance? Is it connected to the rest of the house or entirely stand alone?

I don't think I'm moving in the near future, but I'm curious none the less.

The soundproofing wards are in place (I do have two 6-year olds, after all). No, the entrance is shared as it is the lower ground floor of a terraced house.

Curiosity is always good, and you're welcome to have a look if you'd like.

Travers? As in, Julian Travers' brother?
