No one remembered her birthday except that she reminded people a couple of days ago. And yet no one had really wished her happy birthday but her father. And now Dominic. This was going to be an awkward party with just the three of them. She didn't expect them to stick around or whatever because this was bound to be boring. Honestly she hadn't been happy in so long that it was hard for her to be excited about anything concerning her birthday. She was very grateful for the small party though.
She had side-alonged with Dominic back to his house and was clearly impressed by all of the stuff that he had gotten for her. It was so very nice of him. When there was a knock at the door, she told him that she would get it. Why not? It was her birthday, right? Hopefully it would be someone she knew instead of just some random person who had shown up. Awkward.
When she saw it was Dean, she smiled at him. The smile on her face matched his pretty much exactly. "Hi Dean. You didn't have to show up. I think it's just us. But thank you for coming."
