Alicia: I'm so sorry for taking off from the slopes so quickly before dinner, but when Mum floo'd the room, we were right to figure it was an emergency. Sort of.

Welcome Dagny Maia Pucey-Connelly to the world. She was born just after midnight (USA time) or so, and she and Sera are healthy, though I never thought I'd hear some of those words come out of my big sister's mouth. Will, of course, was calm as can be the whole time. I have no idea how he ended up with someone as crazy as my sister, but my father and I are very grateful. Mother is both horrified and delighted that she's a grandmother ("already" in her words).

I'll be back in the chalet via floo hopefully before you wake up in the morning, mind if I crawl into bed and collapse in exhausted-uncle-mode to curl up before the day begins?

She's beautiful!

Please give all my best to all of your family, but Sera and Will in particular, and tell them that I can't wait to see her in real life. ~~That smell of newborn baby~~

You know, Unca Adi, that I'll never mind you crawling in to collapse in bed, right? However, there's a blizzard outside right now, so I doubt there'll be any skiing until later today, so if you want to stay and enjoy the beauty that is your niece, you should.

Miss you, though.
