Escape from the madness
Who: Gwenog Jones & OPEN
What: Escape from shopping madness
Where: Finnigan's - The Common Room
When: Monday 1st December, Early lunch onwards
Rating: SFW (potential for language)

Monday had brought split-session training, which meant the Harpies started super early in the morning and were done by ten, and would be back to train in the evening again once it was getting dark. Thankfully that was far easier in winter. It was purely so they kept in their hand at playing under the big torches for longer running and later starting matches, but it also meant they got the middle of the day off and given that it was December Gwenog had thought it was probably about time she got started on her Christmas shopping. Thankfully Cai and Isolde were bringing the girls over for Christmas so she hadn't needed to put everything in the muggle post early (they lived in an apartment complex which meant even with long distance owls able to fly the distance they were going to be pushing it to keep hidden). That meant it was Christmas shopping time. Not her favourite.

After managing a few things, battling through the horrors of Oxford and Regent Street she had decided she was very much due for a break and headed for Finnigan's. Plus she was sort of curious about the crowd coming down from the Yoga session upstairs. She hadn't quite made it to a session yet, despite the general intention to have a go, but she'd finally arranged her time to check the session out. Or at least see how many people might be at one. She might go tomorrow if she was still interested after quick observation. They had split training again.

For now though she'd settled herself at a table with a half of cider. It was probably the only thing she'd drink until after the week's match, but the shopping definitely made her feel the need for something, and pub food and some cider didn't seem like a bad plan. She hadn't ordered food yet, but she had the cider and a collection of bags at her feet and the sort of list still to go that made her want to stay all afternoon at the pub.

Taking her hand back and taking an uncaring breath, Romilda nodded. "Of course we did, you have excellent taste." Her eyes brightened as she complimented herself. Gwenog had been her first female sexual partner (not that Romi hadn't snogged her share of girls by then) and while it was one of many now, there was something particularly memorable about your first. Especially when your first was gorgeous, famous, and powerful (physically, psychologically - Gwenog had at it all).

Shrugging then, Romilda added, "You taught me quite a bit, I'm grateful still," and her smile was a little more genuine this time. Just because Jones was frosty, didn't mean Romi had to bring out her claws full force just yet.

She couldn't help but smirk when when Romilda confirmed they'd had sex, the woman was attractive. "Clearly I do."

She tilted her head, curious about that particular comment. It had to have been a couple of years ago or she rather thought she would have remembered her face, careless memory or not. "I aim to please. Actually I don't usually have so much trouble with that bit," she said, feeling pleased with herself. "Glad you've been able to use the experience though. Spread the... I'd say love, but it's not really relevant here!"
